Hey, lady!

I’m Kesha, a Public Health Educator specializing in policy, system, and environmental change to influences positive health behaviors and well-being. A Public Health Educator by day, wellness entrepreneur by night, soon-to-be wife to Mr. Mayes, personal assistant and dragon slayer to Izzy Mayes (fur-baby), my life is a hot mess and I love every rushing moment of it.

Let’s face it, life is hectic. Even the best planned day, —. As we juggle our many hats, our own well-being and self interest often take a back seat to the demands of the day, moving further and further down the priority list. This sites combines research, health education, and advocacy to inspire a holistic, yet simple, approach to health & wellness. It is design to offer tips and resources that you can conveniently incorporate into your busy schedules, help you fuel your body, protect your mental health, and strengthen you physically and spiritually.

Because one size doesn't fit all, I aim to provide you with strategies and tools that you can easily incorporated into your wellness routine.

Bio //  

Kesha is an American girl with a passion for preventative medicine & public health.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Radiation Science with a concentration in Radiation Therapy & a Master of Science in Medical Science.  She works with diverse organizations & government agencies to address population health disparities & chronic disease management through policy, system, and environmental interventions. Her work includes capacity building and community needs assessments, implementation of healthy corner stores and farmers' markets in rural communities, and establishment of breastfeeding infrastructure and resources in businesses & government agencies.  As a Public Health Educator, Kesha works with individuals to establish goals, identify barriers, and work towards laying a sustainable foundation for a life well lived.
